Have you ever thought about just exactly where and how students study at Humboldt? It’s not always with a book at a desk — it’s not always even indoors. So we decided to showcase campus study spots, HSU-style. Have something fun that you’d like us to feature? Drop us a line: magazine@humboldt.edu

Daniel Hernandez (‘10) of Downey, Calif., is majoring in environmental science with a minor in scientific diving. He just finished a coveted summer internship at the Joint Institute for the Study of Atmosphere and Ocean in Seattle. He is also a recipient
of a Montgomery Scholarship, which was set up by retired judge Thomas
Montgomery and his wife, Doris, to support a
wide range of students, including those
with financial need or a commitment to
community service.
